Students

Did you know  . . .
Over 60% of Christians
Made the decision to follow Christ before the age of 16?
momentum1

Cornerstone wants to help students become dedicated followers of Christ.

Each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.,  Momentum is a dedicated service for students in grades 6-12.  The  service has a live student band, a message from Cornerstone's youth minister, and hang out time.  Students find ping pong tables, foosball, video games, and carpetball as ways to get to know one another and have fun together.

Each Sunday morning there are Bible studies for students.
8:30 a.m. for grades 6-8 (changing to 9:45 a.m. beginning September 12, 2010)
11:00 a.m. for grades 9-12

Throughout the year there are many other opportunities for students including summer camps, conferences, conventions, and retreats.

Cornerstone Bible Bowl

Bible Bowl is a national program designed to build knowledge of scripture.  The Cornerstone team travels to local competitions on the first Saturday of each month, September through May.  The team gets together for practice and for fun once a week, usually on Sundays at 4:30 p.m.

Christ in Youth

Christ in Youth (CIY)  hosts "Believe" conferences for Jr. High students in the spring season of each year and "MOVE" conferences for High School students in the summer.  CIY conferences have thousands of attendees and is a great place for students to experience Christ through bands, speakers, class sessions, and fun experiences.

Mission Trips

Each year Cornerstone hosts trips to give students the opportunity to help and serve others.  Traditionally, students in grades 7-8 travel to an Illinois children's home to help with maintenance to the grounds and buildings.  While at the children's home our students stay with and visit the families and residents.  Our trips for high school students vary from serving in inner city missions to helping build houses.
