We Love Children!

In fact, Cornerstone is committed to having the best possible programs and classrooms for children birth through grade 5.  We want both parents and children to feel comfortable, happy, and safe while attending Cornerstone.

Join us any Sunday at 8:30, 9:45, 11:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m.  There are classes and services for children at all four services.  Make sure to check in at the "Children's Ministry" registration desk when you arrive.  Both you and your child will be given a security tag which is necessary when you meet your child following the service.

Many activities for children also occur during the week.  Awana Clubs, Celebration Station, and Upward Sports to name a few.  We want you and your family to have many opportunities to grow in Bible knowledge and to build Christian friendships.

Awana

The Awana program is a fun Bible based teaching program of small group interaction, worship, awards, and games.  Awana is recognized nationally as a fun and effective way to learn more about the Bible. Statistically, most children and teens trained in Awana continue to faithfully and passionately follow Christ as adults.  Awana groups meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

“Sparks” for Kindergarten-Grade 2
“T&T” for Grades 3-5
"Cubbies" for children 3-5 year olds

Vacation Bible School

Each summer Cornerstone hosts Vacation Bible School (VBS).  In order to provide the concentrated and dedicated age-appropriate sessions, children are divided into two different weeks of VBS.  The first week is for preschool children ages 3-5, and the second week is for elementary students in kindergarten through grade five.

There's always large group time for singing and getting to know others.  Small groups then rotate from station to station exploring Bible stories, crafts, and games.
